Will the .pdf version of the Remittance Advice (RA) be searchable?

Will the payment and the Electronic Remittance Advice be made available at the same time?

Will payment records from the legacy MMIS be available in ProviderOne at go live, or will the four years of .pdf Remittance Advices (RAs) build up starting at go-live?

Since legacy RAs will not be available in ProviderOne at go-live, how will a provider access that information?

Q:           Will the .pdf version of the Remittance Advice (RA) be searchable?

A:            We are still looking at several software options, especially around trying to compress the file size making large RAs easier to download. Several options are on the table – some allow for searching and others do not. We will communicate with providers how the .pdf RAs will work as soon as that decision is made.

Q:           Will the payment and the Electronic Remittance Advice be made available at the same time?

A:            ProviderOne will generate payments and remittance advices on the same schedule used by the current MMIS. The only difference will be that no paper remittance advice (RA) will be mailed. Paper (.pdf) RAs may be downloaded via the ProviderOne portal.

Q:           Will payment records from the legacy MMIS be available in ProviderOne at go live, or will the four years of .pdf Remittance Advices (RAs) build up starting at go-live?

A:            RAs will not be converted into ProviderOne. After cutover, the only RAs that will be available in ProviderOne are the ones that ProviderOne creates.

Q:           Since legacy RAs will not be available in ProviderOne at go-live, how will a provider access that information?

A:            Historical RAs created by MMIS/WAMedWeb are being imaged and saved to disks per current business procedure and can be requested by providers following the same process they follow for the legacy system. As a reminder, WAMedWeb will NOT be available for DSHS providers to use after ProviderOne goes live.
