WMIP Information for Providers

How Do I Find out about WMIP if I'm a Provider? DSHS issues numbered memos to providers to give them information about the program:

04-56 and 04-71 are about the beginning of WMIP, 05-87 is about adding mental health benefits (added in October 2005), and 06-86 discusses long-term benefits added in October 2006.

When Did WMIP Start? The Washington Medicaid Integration Partnership project began January 1, 2005 with nearly 3500 clients with a managed care model integrating medical and chemical dependency services. DSHS expanded Mental Health services in October 1, 2005 for the 2000 remaining enrollees.  DSHS integrated Long-Term Care services in the project October 1, 2006.

What are some of the services in WMIP?
