Third Party Recovery
The COB Office prevents duplication of payment when more than one insurance plan or payer covers a Medicaid client. It does this by informing all payers in the billing chain of benefits paid by all previous payers. The COB office is composed of three health insurance units, two casualty units and one premium payment unit. Although COB is composed of diverse business units, all share a common purpose: to assure Medicaid is the payer of last resort.This Web site is designed to assist:
