Medicaid Advisory Committee
Providing the state with different perspectives that help shape Washington State's public medical assistance programs.
The Washington State Medicaid Advisory Committee provides an ongoing venue for discussions of Medicaid operations, programs and planning. Advocates, providers and client representatives are selected for the committee under bylaws adopted in the Washington State Plan. Members meet bimonthly as a committee to discuss and make recommendations on a wide range of Medicaid issues. Medicaid advisory committees are authorized under federal law [42CFR 438.104(c)].
