Casualty
The Casualty Units are responsible for identification, research, and recovery of funds whenever any third party (TPL) may be liable to pay all or part of the client's medical expenses. Workload is based on a case management system. Case managers identify the department's expenditures and protect the department's subrogated claim through filing liens against potential settlements.
